Use observed results to ask better questions about your outbound program. Each study below describes its sample and limits; none establishes a universal result for every sender or software company.
What reply rates did Snipe observe across 54,478 prospects?
Our August 2026 benchmark covers contacted prospects across three workspaces. The aggregate Google-recipient sample recorded 1,286 replies from 41,478 prospects, while the Microsoft-recipient sample recorded 39 replies from 13,000 prospects. The report explains the numerator and denominator and separates mailbox-provider segments.
This is an observational comparison. Audiences, campaigns, timing, and other differences can affect response; these figures do not isolate a causal provider effect or forecast qualified meetings. Replies include responses that may not become opportunities.

Which B2B data stack performed best in Snipe’s test?
The B2B data study reports $1,150 spent across 30,000 provider calls, alongside a separate 10,000-domain test. It compares six measured verticals and discusses plan limits and different budget scenarios. Provider calls, domains, returned records, and usable contacts are different units; preserve those distinctions when quoting the results.
Data coverage depends on the sample, provider version, pricing, and verification method. The findings describe the tested setup rather than a permanent ranking of every provider. Review the methodology before applying the proposed data-provider sequences to a new market.
How should an enterprise software team use these benchmarks?
Start with your own account universe, recipient mix, approved offer, and sales capacity. Compare consistent cohorts and track the full path from contact through reply, held meeting, sales acceptance, and qualified opportunity. A high reply rate is not useful if the replies come from accounts your team cannot serve.
Use the studies to design questions and tests: which recipient segments behave differently, whether the data covers your vertical, and where qualification reduces wasted sales time. Keep a dated source, definition, and denominator beside every reported rate. A client case study is evidence of one engagement, not a replacement for a cohort benchmark.

Decision tools and frameworks
These resources help teams make decisions; they are not empirical research results.
- Agency RFP scorecard: compare vendor evidence and ownership.
- Demo pipeline calculator: model your assumptions. Defaults are hypothetical inputs.
- Qualified meeting criteria: define sales acceptance before launch.
How to cite and interpret Snipe research
Link to the individual study, identify Snipe Outbound and the study title, include the sample period and access date, and retain the relevant limitations. Link directly to the downloadable dataset when discussing a figure. Please distinguish an observed reply from a qualified demo, pipeline from closed revenue, and a tested sample from the wider market.
